Enchanted Rock - Aug 03, 2003
Matt, Hannah, and I arrived at Erock in Matt's comfy sedan by 8am and left by 2pm - the only way to beat the heat. Hannah forgot her gear and Fiona and Kirk were nice to bail us out with their spare harness and shoes. We started off with the classic trad climb: Top Choice (5.10), then traded it for Raw Meat (5.10) with Barry and Beth. I then set up Little Friskies (5.11), and Hannah and I finally did some small tiny 5.11 crack I've forgotten the name of. After finishing Raw Meat, the bouldering-only gang showed up: John G, Ralph, Steve R & Chase, Merek, and Jenny. We all played on Egghead (V3) for quite a while and John Gonzales set up a rope on the corner to take pictures.
