Minna & Eliza won 2nd places in the women's Intermediate & Advanced - respectively.
Team Toprope was unfortunately sick at home.
The day started by taking the safe (less steep & less slippery-when-wet) back-way up to Buzzard's Roost - which put us just behind two groups of four who wanted to climb Little Feet (5.9+). Minna & I promptly joined Stephanie and Paul to go climb Fear of Flying (5.10) around the corner instead. Before Paul & I led Fear of Flying with the nice sewing kit of #3, #4, #4.5, and #5 camalots that he showed me, I ran back up to Little Feet to get a warmup. The two crews had yet to unpack a rope, so I stuck my greedy little hands in the crack. It wasn't very wet and my feet weren't really muddy, so I kept going up. About half-way up, I decided to go ahead and solo the thing. I looked down from the top and they still hadn't unpacked a rope, so I didn't feel rude for jumping on it. After Fear of Flying, Minna decided that Conspiracy-a-Go-Go was next. Late-comer Eliza joined us. Must be nice to sleep late and still place 2nd in Women's Advanced. :)
After deciding that PG-13 might be too wet, we all jumped on the TR that was sitting on Aquatic Anxiety. Minna and Eliza both did very well. Joe and Karl also set up a toprope on Shrike (5.12b). Neither of us got it clean, but we were close and we'll definitely return when it's dryer out sometime.
To end out the day, I led Bush crack, then Amazon Boulder. Minna & Eliza TR'd both successfully and got their 5 climbs in.
