A week after the big loose rock below fell off thw greenbelt after heavy rains, CTM got approval to host a crew to clean up the remaining precariously balanced loose rocks above the New Wall under the supervision of John Cook. The excellent turnout included:
Tommy B, Luke B, Paige B, Austin M, Cheryl C, Scott L, Chris G, Jaime C, Carlos, Evan, Trip L and Kita K.

After John prepares us to close off the area, Luke, Scott, and Evan all climb to the top of Flintstones and Schoolboy to set up anchors. They hauled up two 7 ft. pry bars to do the dirty work. Along with thousands of smaller rocks, two huge blocks are trundled. The largest, refrigerator-sized rock shakes the whole area. It was apparently held up by only a little bit of dirt which required very little moving - thus proving the urgency of this project.
After those of us on the ground suffered some incredibly rude abuse from various hikers and bikers for closing the Western side of the trail, Paige could not wait to climb.
Kita also gets to play on Flintstones after the top area is cleaned and re-cleaned
Jaime uses an ear-jamming technique on the beginning of Hysteria.
