Tommy & I set up a clinic to prepare people for climbing Multipitch in Potrero. I'd still like to get a few more pictures from other people's cameras since I didn't have that much opportunity to take them myself.
We set up simulated anchors, via long static webbing, to enable teams to learn about some of the issues involved with multipitch climbing. We had the teams to wear helmets and carry backpacks and other gear to simulate what they would need on some multipitch climbs. We worked on rope management and passing your partner at a tricky belay stance. We looked at the clove hitch as a useful anchor attachment.
