At "The Butt"

We set up several nice routes at "The Butt". I warmed up on Unclench(5.10+), and then top-roped Cleavage(5.12-). We don't seem to have any pictures of this area, but I felt Cleavage was one of the best routes of the trip. After watching Mike pull the lower section completely smoothly, I had to do the lower half again before running down to the Painted Canyon area

Trip on another stellar route: Crankalicious(5.10).

Louie, Marissa, and I took a swim. I borrowed John's snorkle and mask and was able to see a few good size gar fish swimming around. After the swim, Mike had left me the onsight of Crankalicious. It was a fun lead, but it wasn't a dead giveaway for a 5.10 climb. Although when I did it later on toprope it finally felt more like a 10.

After cleaning a few routes, I joined Marissa and Minna who were getting a shampoo and swimming a few laps.
On the way back from the Painted Canyon, Marissa took us on a ride all over the ranch. This was NOT intentional and we took a few pictures while we were lost. After finding the campsite, Marissa whipped up some yummy breakfast tacos which we washed down with typical breakfast drinks such as Bacardi, wine, & tequila.

On day 1, Marissa lit up her chem-light pois and started twirling. On day 2, Paul upped the ante with some real fire. Marissa's chem-lights were still visible on Saturday night, but not without a flash - heh heh.
